Replacement valve type 441 FN with seat bushing made of Hastelloy C4

The safety valve type 546 was developed decades ago in response to various customer requirements for the Swiss chemical and pharmaceutical market. We would like to inform you that LESER has discontinued the production of type 546 as of 31 May 2018 for various reasons.
Andre Ramseyer AG will maintain the stock of spare parts for at least 10 years. We generally have an extensive stock and can therefore ensure the supply very quickly. As a specialist, we will continue to offer overhauls of these safety valves.
As an alternative to type 546, LESER provides an adapted, identical version of type 441 (1:1 replacement possible). This is available with a seat bushing and a disc made of either Hastelloy or titanium; this means that all wetted parts are largely resistant when closed; other metallic materials are available on request. Compared to the type 546, the alternative model offers the user additional application options and adaptations to the respective process conditions (higher pressures and temperatures).

As a further alternative and for the highest corrosion resistance requirements, Ramseyer also offers a fully PTFE-lined safety valve, type 447. All wetted parts of this valve are coated with PTFE on the inlet and outlet sides.
