Description
The pneumatic rotary actuators from Airpower Europe GmbH represent sophisticated technology, high reliability, and maximum flexibility in the automation of industrial valves. The Twintorque® actuator system is based on a robust double-piston rack-and-pinion principle and is available in double-acting (APD) and single-acting, spring-return (APS) versions. Torques ranging from 3 Nm to over 13,000 Nm, various swing angles (90°, 120°, 135°, or 180°), as well as 3-position and special versions enable precise and reliable adaptation to virtually any valve.
Thanks to ISO 5211 flange configurations, NAMUR interfaces according to VDI/VDE 3845, and a wide range of accessories, the actuators can be easily automated and combined with positioners, feedback boxes, or solenoid valves. High-quality materials, comprehensive corrosion protection, silicone-free versions, and certifications such as ATEX, SIL 3, CE, and EAC ensure safe operation even under demanding environmental conditions.
