Description

The pneumatic rotary actuators from Airpower Europe GmbH represent sophisticated technology, high reliability, and maximum flexibility in the automation of industrial valves. As an independent manufacturer, Airpower has been developing and producing high-performance rotary actuators for demanding applications in process and industrial engineering for many years.

The Twintorque® actuator system is based on a robust double-piston rack-and-pinion principle and is available in double-acting (APD) and single-acting, spring-return (APS) versions. Torques ranging from 3 Nm to over 13,000 Nm, various swing angles (90°, 120°, 135°, or 180°), as well as 3-position and special versions enable precise and reliable adaptation to virtually any valve.

Thanks to ISO 5211 flange configurations, NAMUR interfaces according to VDI/VDE 3845, and a wide range of accessories, the actuators can be easily automated and combined with positioners, feedback boxes, or solenoid valves. High-quality materials, comprehensive corrosion protection, silicone-free versions, and certifications such as ATEX, SIL 3, CE, and EAC ensure safe operation even under demanding environmental conditions.
